Our highly qualified team of behavioral health clinicians consists of Psychiatrists, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and other Licensed Practitioners of Healing Arts (LPHA). All our clinicians are bilingual or multilingual and have specific experience working in unserved and underserved populations. Manuel J. Jiménez Jr., MA, LMFT


Manuel J. Jiménez Jr., MA, LMFT is the president of FBHUCC. With over 30 years of experience as a leader in the mental health community both locally and throughout the state, Manuel is responsible for establishing programs for adults, children, those with a dual diagnosis, as well as programs specifically for the Latino community. Manuel is dedicated to ensuring that everyone has access to the mental health services that they need.

Prior to joining FBHUCC, Manuel held many positions at county mental health departments throughout the state, including having served as Mental Health Director for both Merced and Alameda Counties. He has also served on many state, local, and nonprofit boards and is currently on the Board of Directors of Sutter Health. Notably, he received the honor of being appointed the first chair of the Latino Affairs Commission for the City of South Lake Tahoe as well as appointed to the Lake Tahoe Federal Advisory Committee by the Clinton administration. He also served on the First 5 Commission for Merced County.

Juan Perez, MS, LCSW is the Clinical Supervisor at FBHUCC. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, he received a Master of Social Work from California State University Stanislaus. Having served clients in county, medical, non-profit, and religious settings, Juan has extensive training and experience providing crisis intervention, case management, and therapeutic services to clients who suffer from emotional distress related to past and current life stressors. Using an integrative approach, Juan engages and empowers clients to gain insight and skills to improve their overall well-being. He works in collaboration with community-based organizations to connect clients to needed services and resources. Juan strives to serve clients with compassion with the hope of making a positive difference.

Mia DiGiovanni, MHA

Compliance Officer

Mia DiGiovanni is the Compliance Officer at FBHUCC. She received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Marketing from The University of San Diego. She later received her Master’s in Healthcare Administration (MHA) from the University of Southern California. Mia helped to establish FBHUCC from the beginning as a Healthcare Fellow and has since come become the Agency’s Compliance Officer. A native of Turlock, Mia is passionate about ensuring that high quality mental health services are available to all who need it in the Central Valley.

Meng Song is a Behavioral Health Clinician at FBHUCC. He earned his Master degree from California State University, Fresno in Social Work. Meng has over 10 years of experience working with children, families, and individuals as an agent of support and guidance. His professional life includes a commitment to serving the needs of children and families. Meng believes in working in partnership with clients to utilize their strengths to help them sort out their challenges and achieve their goals. He also realizes how important it is to identify all aspects of an individual’s life that impact their well-being including their physical health, support systems (family, friends, etc.), work or school environment, and faith/spirituality.

Rosalinda Ramirez, MS, AMFT

Rosalinda Ramirez is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who helped to establish FBHUCC. A native of Mexico, her family came to the Central Valley as migrant farm workers when she was a young girl. Rosalinda earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Administration of Justice, and later turned her focus to Mental Health, obtaining a Master of Science in Marriage, Family and Child Therapy from University of Phoenix. Rosalinda has experience providing early intervention and prevention services in community-based settings for adults, older adults, children, couples, and families. Additionally, she has experience in school settings, providing counseling services to students and their families. Rosalinda’s goal is to serve the community while continuously finding better avenues to meeting her clients’ mental health needs.

Sergio Lara, MA is a Behavioral Health Clinician at FBHUCC. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley and his Master of Arts degree from California State University, Stanislaus in Education with a concentration in Counselor Education. Sergio has a proven track record of successfully collaborating with multi-sector agencies for positive mental health and wellness outcomes. Sergio has accomplished much of his work in the Mental Health field in Stanislaus County with the “Promotora” (Community Health Worker) model; particularly, through Realizando Alianzas e Inspirando Sabiduria (RAIZ) – “Realizing Alliances and Inspiring Wisdom.” RAIZ is a community-based model to organize communities around mental health. He looks forward to utilizing his experience and relationship building skills to positively impact the population he will be working with at FBHUCC.

Susana Diaz MSW, ASW

 Behavioral Health Clinician

Susana Diaz MSW, ASW is a Behavioral Health Clinician at FBHUCC. She earned her Bachelor’s of Arts in Sociology and her Master’s in Social Work with distinction from California State University Stanislaus. She has experience providing crisis intervention, case management and using an Integrative Holistic approach in both county and non-profit settings to both school aged students and adults. She also has experience working with multi-disciplinary teams.

Susana is a passionate and dedicated professional who advocates for her clients and provides them with adequate support and resources. She empowers and educates them to gain the skills to improve their well-being and quality of life. Susana believes that dignity and autonomy are the most basic rights a person is entitled to. She also believes that adequate support and resources not only give people insight, but create awareness to make informed decisions and transform their lives.

Antonio Ruezca, MS, is a Behavioral Health Clinician working with the homeless population. He has a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from National University and has his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Stanislaus. He has spent the last 15 years working in child protective services investigating child abuse and neglect along with connecting families to community resources. Antonio has years of experience working for nonprofit organizations providing crisis intervention, case management, and therapeutic services to individuals who suffer from emotional trauma using a personal and professional approach to engage with clients to meet their needs in a safe environment. Antonio is also bilingual and bicultural in Spanish.

Jovanni Lima

Case Manager

Jovanni Lima is a case manager at FBHUCC working with the homeless population at We Care Program. He has a Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement from California State University, Stanislaus. He plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Social Work.

Jovanni is a Turlock native. He bilingual in both English and Spanish. He is passionate about serving and empowering others.

Yahaira Gutierrez is the Office Administrator at FBHUCC. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the California State University, Stanislaus. She plans to continue her education by pursuing her master’s degree while still maintaining her position at FBHUCC. Yahaira is committed to providing a welcoming environment for clients in our office while also providing support to our clinicians and clinical supervisor as our organization continues to grow. 

Yahaira is also currently honoring Latina Heroes in our community on behalf of Emmanuel’s Medical Center Health Foundation. She manages EMC Health Foundation Conexion Latina en el Valle Central Facebook page.
